Last month, the team at Dawsongroup material handling’s New Spitalfields Market workshop held a demonstration of the Combilift CS pedestrian stacker. This event was a collaboration between Alex Rene, Area Sales Executive for Dawsongroup material handling, and Paul Hopkinson, Combilift Product Specialist, to offer customers in New Spitalfields Market the opportunity to experience the benefits of the Combilift in person.
The Combi CS pedestrian stacker is designed to work safely in tight spaces, tackling difficult angles and narrow turning spaces with ease; perfect for busy market stands and warehouses. The stacker offers maximum operator visibility, and the tiller arm keeps the operator out of harm’s way, ensuring your process is both streamlined and safe.
The material handling team showcased the versatility of the stacker, which has the ability to handle all pallet types around customers stands with the added benefit of being able to put pallets into their racking and onto their mezzanine floors . In person, its ease of use is clear, all employees can use the machine with quick and easy training, ensuring smooth operations, even when forklifts are unavailable.
The three-day event proved a great success with customers expressing an interest in the Combi CS pedestrian stacker and the Dawsongroup Smarter Asset Strategy.
“I was impressed with the demonstration of the Combilift at Spitalfields,” said Andrew Thorogood, Director of Thorogood & Sons. “I was expecting the Combilift to be difficult to manoeuvre in the tight spaces, but it turned out to be very agile with sensitive controls. This machine would be ideal for situations where forklifts are in limited supply or where you need to isolate pedestrians from forklifts in tight spaces.”
