Dawsongroup material handling ltd is part of Dawsongroup plc, a national provider of asset rental and contract hire solutions, operating from a network of strategically positioned depots across the UK.

We are looking for a Fork Truck Field Service Engineer.

The main purpose of your role is to service and repair forklift trucks at Dawsongroup customers in the Stoke area.

To be successful in this position you will:

• Diagnose, maintain, service and repair material handling equipment, with minimal supervision
• Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard, following procedures and all health and safety guidelines
• Help support our long-standing customer base
• Demonstrate good product knowledge gained from having experience of working on all aspects of forklift trucks, IC Engines, brake systems, hydraulics and electrics
• You can have experience in agricultural or construction equipment as many of the material handling equipment work in a similar way
• Product training will be provided

You will need to be able to work on diesel, liquid petroleum gas and electronic systems.

This position is subject to the candidate holding a full, valid UK driving licence
