• Full service contract – this agreement will take care of all your truck maintenance and repairs and provides you with the highest levels of operational performance and up-time (excluding accidental damage or negligence).
• Preventative maintenance agreement – this is an effective way to prevent unplanned downtime and costly repairs, we take over responsibility for maintaining your trucks according to a pre-agreed plan as well as ensuring that your trucks meet all safety requirements.
• Safety inspection agreement – this agreement ensures that your truck always complies with safety standards set by national laws and regulating bodies.
• Pay-as-you-go – this package is designed with flexibility and convenience in mind.  Your preventative maintenance for your equipment will be arranged for a time that is convenient for you, as frequent as you’d like with no extra costs.

No matter what make of forklift truck or material handling equipment you operate, Dawsongroup | material handling can supply you spare parts from our extensive parts stockholding; and if we don’t have your requirements in stock, we can normally deliver these to you on the next working day.

When you do have an inevitable vehicle off road, our nationwide service network ensures that your local accredited service technician is on site within four working hours.  Because they know you, your trucks and your business their van stock will accurately reflect the requirements of your fleet – this is why we have such an enviable first-time fix rate.

Our depot at Garforth, West Yorkshire, has a modern and fully equipped 6 bay workshop as well as vehicle lifts, welding bays, metal saws and presses in the machine shop, a hydraulic hose making facility with heavy duty swaging machinery, and a brand new heated spray booth.

This provides a comprehensive refurbishment facility for all forklifts and warehousing equipment, including equipment from our own rental fleet that is being prepared for sale, and customer trucks that are in for overhauling or full refurbishments.

When it comes to rebuilds and used equipment, the Dawsongroup workshop team has over 25 years of experience, and will carry out an extensive and complete inspection which includes a 125 point check, and thorough consultation with the sales team – we will ensure the necessary work to meet all relevant regulations is completed.  The same procedure is followed when preparing used machines for casual/contract hire.

We recycle all of our old oils, metal waste, aerosol cans and filters.

On completion of the work, the forklift is given a full re-spray in our fully equipped spray booth.  It is then subjected to a full examination and a Certificate of Thorough Examination is issued.  The forklift then has a PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) before it is handed over by the sales team.
